Too bad it’s already over: from October 24-26 2018 we enjoyed some days at Experts Live Europe 2018 with the Microsoft community. In Prague we brought together 400 attendees from 29 different countries. Amazing! It was a great time to learn, share and connect with like-minded experts and IT specialists from all over Europe.
Day 0
The show started with a pre-conference day and more than 150 attendees registered to attend one of the 3 focus tracks. A great day to warm up and to get ready for the real show. Our experts covered the topics for a full day which allowed attendees to really dive deep into the topics.

- “Cloud Optimization & Security – core 4 crash course” by Microsoft MVP Pete Zerger
- “Enterprise Client Management with Windows 10” by Microsoft MVPs Kent Agerlund & Jason Sandys
The long day ended with the VIP party where all speakers, sponsors, staff and VIP ticket holders came together to celebrate. The party was hosted at the Cloud 9 sky bar & lounge and approx. 200 people attended to enjoy nice food, drinks and conversations. One of our experts – Kevin Greene from Ireland – celebrated his 40th birthday and we all sang a (more or less) nice happy birthday for him.
Day 1
The next morning Isidora an myself kicked off the show. 400 people from 29 different countries attended the main conference with 70 sessions and many side attractions. Our 40+ top experts from around the globe delivered a great show and shared their impressive Microsoft cloud, datacenter and workplace knowledge.
For driving fun and to allow everyone to extend their network, we hosted a networking party with fine food and drinks after the last session. 2 show acts – a violin duo and a caricaturist – heated up the audience.
Day 2
Day 2 started again early in the morning. Even after the networking party the night before, the rooms were packed from the very first sessions.
After the last session on the second conference day, we ended the show with the conference closing note. For that we brought together the full audience and served some local Czech beer and light snacks. The sponsors raffled their prices and our experts received a nice personalized gift from the heart of Switzerland. Yummy!
With that, we released the crowd and ended a great show!
Conclusion
Isidora and I really much enjoyed being your hosts and are already looking forward to seeing you again next year! Planning this conference takes a full year (not full time of course). But after this hard work it’s such an awesome feeling to see the result: people from all over the world fly into the conference city. People start hanging out together and everyone is getting excited about the upcoming event. Everyone is willing to talk, share and connect. And there is no difference between speakers, sponsors, staff and attendees – everyone is equal. It’s like an annual family get-together. This is what community is. This is what we love. This is Experts Live Europe!
